Education and Early Career
Born in Moss, Norway, Dessen pursued studies at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry (SHKS), focusing on both architecture and textiles. She furthered her education at the Kunstakademie in Bonn, Germany, and the Central School of Art and Design in London.
Artistic Practice
Dessen’s oeuvre encompasses painting, graphic art—primarily lithography—and textile art.
